Meet Marina Schlanger - Coriat, MHC L

Licensed Psychotherapist

Marina brings warmth, attentiveness, and a grounded presence to her work with clients. She believes that meaningful change happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship built on safety, understanding, and connection. She is committed to creating a space where her clients feel welcome, heard, and able to explore difficult emotions and experiences without judgment.

Marina works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and recurring patterns that may leave them feeling stuck and disconnected from themselves or one another. Her approach is relational and collaborative, integrating Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change.

She earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Mercy University and her law degree from New York University School of Law. Her experiences as both a former attorney and a mother of four bring a deep capacity for empathy, perspective-taking, and understanding to her clinical work. She appreciates the complexity of people’s lives and the courage it takes to seek support and engage in the therapeutic process.
