Leyla Tulun
Licensed Psychotherapist
Believing in everyone’s inherent capacity for growth and change, Leyla fosters a collaborative therapy space where clients explore emotions, gain insight, and work through obstacles. Leyla helps clients identify patterns that no longer serve them while building on existing strengths in a respectful, nonjudgmental environment. She works at a pace that feels safe, honoring each client’s readiness and lived experience. She also takes a systems-oriented perspective, recognizing how family dynamics, relationships, and broader contexts shape emotional experience.
Her work is grounded in a psychodynamic framework and informed by CBT, mindfulness-based practices, and motivational interviewing. She is passionate about working with clients navigating depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, chronic illness, and family and relational conflict. Her practice is attentive to the role of culture, identity, and lived experience.
Leyla is a licensed master social worker (LMSW) and graduated from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service with honors, where she received advanced clinical training.
